No one is new to the controversial statements made by Trump against Islam. But many thought that he would soften his tone after proceeding to the next step of elections. But Trump seem to be as rude as usual when it comes to Islam. Now being officially announced as the Presidential candidate on behalf of Republican party, he once again reiterated his stand on the ban of Muslims.
In a series of recent interviews, Trump did not step away from his proposal to temporarily ban Muslims to enter US. He feels that Muslims have been destroying Europe and vowed that he won’t allow that to happen. "Thousands and thousands of people being placed all over the country that, frankly, nobody knows who they are. We don't know what we're doing," said Trump. Trump has been supporting the ban from December last year, after a Muslim couple murdered 14 people in San Bernardino, California before being killed in a shootout.
