Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ended his 48 hours Rythu Deeksha in Perkit village of Armoor Mandal in Nizamabad district on Thursday evening. Jagan ended his fast with the lemon juice offered by local farmers.
Huge turn out of farmers, women, students and YSRCP cadre was seen at the Deeksha venue, which started on Tuesday evening. Going by the response and welcome received by the Kadapa MP, it can be said that his Deeksha was a successful one. After breaking his fast, Jagan addressed the huge gathering and explained at length what has prompted him to take up the Deeksha.
