Pakistani Singer's Tight Slap To Intolerance

on Dec 16, 2015

Remember how few cinema biggies like Amir Khan and Shahrukh had opined that India is getting intolerant and how other literary giants started giving back their awards in support of opposing the rise of intolerance. Is there really intolerance existing in India?

Pakistani Singer Adnan Sami, who is living in India from a long time slaps such remarks. "If there is atmosphere of intolerance in India, how would I ask for this country's citizenship?", asked Adnan. Since 2001, this prominent singer who sang numerous Bollywood songs and also some hit Telugu numbers has been staying in India on a visitor's visa. He publicly sought Indian Citizenship recently and wants to settle down in Mumbai, for which he is about to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh soon. "After 16 years of staying here, I feel India is my land and love. I feel proud for a new airport in Mumbai and angry when there are pot holes" concluded, the popular singer.

Probably these comments of Adnan Sami, that too who happens to be a son of arch rival Pakistan, should open the eyes of those celebrated Indians who are remarking India as 'intolerant'.
