Lokah enters 200 crores club and continues to dominate

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra has entered the gross Rs.200 crores globally in just 13 days. On the second Monday, the movie collected Rs.5.10 crores gross in Kerala. It has become the second highest grosser on a second Monday after Thudaram. The movie advance bookings are steady for Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

The movie has crossed Rs.102.09 crores with Rs.64 crores from Kerala and Rs.38.09 crores from Rest of India. It became all time second highest ROI grosser for Malayalam cinema behind mammoth Manjummel Boys in ROI collections. It has become the seventh Malayalam film to collect 100 crores in India, including Kerala.

By the end of third weekend, it is expected to cross Lucifer 2 Empuraan and near Thudaram gross to become second highest Malayalam grosser in India behind Manjummel Boys. It has become fourth 200 crore grosser for Malayalam cinema and it is dominating in UAE, GCC, Australia, New Zealand, North America territories as well.

The movie has crossed US$10 Million and it is looking to set even more records in third weekend as the craze for the tickets has been consistent. Even Telugu and Tamil versions have been trending better despite a new release like Ghaati. On the whole, Lokah could become All Time Big Blockbuster for Malayalam by end of its run.
