Mirai producer feels hikes would kill movie prospects
on Sep 9, 2025

Every big budget film in Telugu Cinema have been accustomed to applying for ticket hikes in Telugu States. Even Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom got hikes but producers seem to be slowly learing their lesson to not kill their cash cow. Mirai producer TG Vishwa Prasad did not opt for any hikes.
Highlighting the same in his press interaction, he stated that they made Mirai with a grand vision, emphasizing a commitment to quality and audience accessibility over ticket price hikes. He stated that he is fully involved in the project and hence, he is confident that people will enjoy it to the core.
He further stated that film has the look and feel of a massive ₹300 crore project, which will mesmerize audiences. He believes that the film's visual spectacle is something everyone should be able to experience, and hikes would be a hindrance. He promised that entire family will be able to enjoy the film.
He expressed immense confidence in director Karthik Ghattamaneni’s vision and the dedicated work of the entire cast and crew. According to Vishwa Prasad, the film is a high-quality production with international-standard visuals, exceptional VFX, and a compelling story.
Mirai starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Ritika Nayak, is set to hit the big screens on 12th September in multiple languages. The online bookings for the film have opened but are relatively slow to pick up. Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran and Jayaram are playing leading roles with rumors of Rana Daggubati playing Lord Ram role.
