Three Telugu Flicks Beaten By Hollywood Movie

Yesterday, June 12th has saw three Telugu movies making their way to theatres. With different stories, expectations and hypes, these films are expected to strike gold. Did they really? What’s their calibre? Have a look.

Most hyped among the bunch is Puri Jagan and Charmi’s “Jyothi Lakshmi”, which has the story of a call girl as its backbone. Next comes Dil Raju and award winning director Sai Kiran Adivi’s “Kerintha”, targeting youths. Falling in the negligible category, we have Varun Sandesh’s “Lava Kusa” too hitting cinemas. Critics have loved Kerintha, whipped Jyothi Lakshmi and none bothered to have a glimpse at Lava Kusa.

Trade reports indicated that Jyothi Lakshmi got a moderate opening and families kept it off due to Charmi’s exposing factor. Kerintha has very least possible attendance from crowds as many doesn't even know that the film is releasing, while coming to Lava Kusa, there is nothing to talk about it.

What surprises anyone is that, Jurassic World, the tales of dinosaurs from Hollywood, is having an exceptional reception all over two Telugu states. With our own Telugu movies lacking that content to hold nerve, surely Jurassic’s dinosaurs will take advantage.
