Aa Aiduguru Movie Review

Story :

Aa Aiduguru is a story that has been built to create awareness of social responsibility among youth. The Chief Minister of AP and an IPS Officer (Venkat) join together and build up a strategy called NGF (Next Generation Force). To execute this plot, they pick up some youth and train them over a period of 15 weeks at the Police Academy. A female officer is also appointed to train the candidates in this process. In this intense training, our five heroes face a lot of obstacles and get terminated from the camp. The plan of executing NGF disturbs opposition party members and they try and disrupt the ambitious efforts of the Chief Minister. Although there isn't much scope for romance, five different love stories run along the backdrop. Some family sentiments and issues are also a part of the script. The five heroes later get to join hands for a good cause. Will NGF turn out to be a success ? Will the Chief Minister and IPS Officer sense and suppress danger ?  What happens to these five heroes and their families ? All this forms the rest of the story.

Analysis :

Aa Aiduguru has been penned down to create responsibility among youth. However, the plot does not have philosophical coherence to justify the cause. We saw a lot of films made with a motive like this but only some impressed the crowd. Aa Aiduguru somehow fails to join this club. With certain insensible concepts and flawed execution, Aa Aiduguru hasn't reached our expectations.

Perspective :

Performances :

Venkat did a good job as a strict and honest IPS officer. Actors like Posani Murali Krishna, Babu Mohan and Nagineedu weren't too good in this film as the bad guys. Ashmitha Sood added some glamour to the sets but that wasn't of any great use.

The five heroes added a fresh look to the film. All five of them were great at performance. Looks like they had a healthy competition among each other to give their best on screen. These actors do have a good future in TFI.

Technical Aspects :

Direction :

Anil Gurudu did choose a risky plot but a little more sensibility to the concept would have made Aa Aiduguru look better. For a genre like this, people expect more reality and Anil failed to give that. However, an effort like this can be appreciated.

Music :

There wasn't much scope for songs in Aa Aiduguru. However, the background score was commendable. Anand did catch the vibe of the script to give quality background scores.

Telugu One Perspective :

Plus Points :

1. Performances of all protagonists.
2. Powerful Background Scores.

Negative Points :

1. Unreal script for an intense genre.
2. Failure in delivering clarity
3. No Impressive comedy scenes although there were a few.

Bottom Line :

Aa Aiduguru according to us is a failed experiment. It is something like building a missile and failing to launch it in the right direction. On the whole, we cannot promise wholesome satisfaction after watching the movie.

Rating : 1.75/5
