Govinda clarifires about divorce rumors with his wife

Govinda, 90's biggest star of Bollywood, has been in the news about his "perceived wrecked household". His wife Ssunita Ahuja, is said to be staying away from him and the couple are going for divorce after 40 years of marriage. He dismissed the reports and stated that, "no one can break us apart". 


He appeared on Too Much talk show hosted by Kajol and Twinkle Khanna. Talking about Ssunita, he said, "She is like a kid, a good one at heart. Sometimes, she tends to speak what she shouldn't but she is a lovely person in and out. Entire family and I forgave her many times and it is important to treat her with respect as she is the one who is holding my house and every bond together over the years. She deserves to be loved and her words might be hurtful but she is very honest soul." 


Govinda further stated that he is not someone to treat human bonds lightly and he also opined that Indian culture and traditional values have strong context that needs to be adhered to. He remarked that he believes in the institution of marriage and a lot of work is needed for long standing relationships to prosper. 


He stated that a couple tends to go through different emotional journey together and it all needs to be addressed. He also opined that at times people to need some solitude but that doesn't mean they have fallen out of love. Govinda cheerfully claimed that he is always a happy person with Ssunita and kids around him.
