Salman Khan pays last respects to Mahabharat star Pankaj Dheer

Salman Khan has become the centre of attraction when he arrived at Mahabharat fame actor Pankaj Dheer's last rites. The late actor left an indelible mark on Indian audiences as Karna, in revered BR Chopra's Mahabharat series. He is father of Chennai Express fame and Bollywood antagonist, Nikitin Dheer. 


The veteran actor Pankaj Dheer died battling cancer at the age of 68. He recovered from from cancer after a major surgery but it relapsed and the actor succumbed to it after battling for 8 years. Nikitin Dheer shared Lord Shiva picture on Instagram story and wrote,"Whatever comes, Let it come. Whatever stays, Let it stay. Whatever goes, Let it go. As a Shiva Bhakt, say 'Shivarpanam' and move on! He'll take care!" - very hard to do."


Pankaj Dheer's last rites have been held at Pawanhans Crematorium, Vile Parle around 4:30 PM. Salman Khan attended and gave his final goodbye to his Sanam Bewafa co-star. They have been friends over the time and he even encouraged Nikitin Dheer to pursue to his Bollywood dreams as an actor. 


Several TV actors like Kushal Tandon paid their last respects while Roopa Ganguly, his co-star who played Draupadi, broke down rememberin their long association. Majority of celebrities stated that Pankaj Dheer has been a great personality with high regards to friendship and humanity.
