Carrot and Mung Dal Salad

 

Our body needs to be cleansed often and doing this exercise post festivals is well recommended by the experts. When we talk about right diet, salads and soups come in to our mind. Isn't it?

From today onwards, we will be presenting recipes of various salads which are healthy and you all will enjoy the preparation of these salads and taste as well.

Today, we have carrot and mung dal salad recipe for you:

Ingredients:

* Grated carrot - 1 cup
* Mung dal( sprouted) 1- cup
* Chopped onion - 2 table spoons
* Lime juice  - 1 teaspoon
* Chopped coriander - 1 tablespoon
* Cumin powder  - 1 teaspoon
* Pepper powder  - 1 teaspoon
* Salt for taste

Preparation:

* Take a big glass bowl and put all the ingredients except chopped coriander in to that bowl.

* Toss them thoroughly.

* Allow it to settle for 10 min to ensure that the spices are settled well.

* Garnish with coriander and serve.
