Srikanth Going Jagapathi Babu Way

Jagapathi Babu is currently one of the most sought after character artists in south. He ventured into Malayalam industry with Manyam Puli (Payumpuli in Malayalam), which was an industry hit there grossing over Rs 100 crores. He is also doing prestigious ventures in Tamil.

Now, senior hero Srikanth is also going in Jagapathi Babu’s way. Since he is not getting any offers as lead hero, Srikanth opting to pick character artist roles. The ‘Khadgam’ star is now foraying into Malayalam industry. Like Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth has also chosen to do negative role.

Srikanth will be acting as a villain in upcoming Mohan Lal’s film. As Mohan Lal’s recent films are getting response in Telugu too, the new film will also be dubbed here and it may have wider appeal because of Srikanth’s presence.
