on Feb 24, 2025

Rocking Star Yash, after striking big box office Gold with KGF franchise, has big ambitions to break into Hollywood, as well. Following Baahubali example, he did release KGF in two parts and second one became a huge Pan-India blockbuster. Now, he is following RRR example, stating true to Rajamouli's path.

Accordingly, his film Toxic becomes the first one to be shot in English while being a Kannada film. It is a new sort of a bilingual as it will be made in an Indian regional language and world's most popular language, too.

Geetu Mohandas is directing the film and she has written two different scripts to match the sensiblities of different markets, globally. "Our vision for 'Toxic' was to craft a narrative that resonates authentically with audiences both in India and globally," says director Geetu Mohandas.

She continued to say, "We've strived to capture the nuances of the story in both Kannada and English, ensuring an authentic experience for viewers across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. 'Toxic' explores a collaboration of artistic vision and precision of commercial storytelling. It's a journey that transcends borders, languages, and cultural confines, designed to connect with hearts and minds worldwide."

Well, Yash is also co-producing the film with KVN Productions and he is aiming to take Indian Cinema globally, say the makers. SS Rajamouli found great admiration globally with RRR, let's see how Toxic will fare. Meanwhile, Yash started shooting for Ramayana as Ravana.
