Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom teaser looks stunning yet

Vijay Deverakonda after Liger, changed his path with romantic entertainers like Khushi and The Family Star. Both did not work for him and he is now back with his ambitious film, VD12, titled as Kingdom. Jr. NTR's voiceover has enhanced the weight of the visuals yet it seems slightly undewhelming.

Not to be negative or spread negativity but the stunning visuals and epic soundtrack by Anirudh Ravichander seems to have worked against the build-up. Vijay Deverakonda did not garner mass image to immediately accept him in such a heavy role. He just feels like out of place in the teaser

Stil, there is a lot to love in this one. Each and every shot looks crafty and carefully choreographed, staged to tell a deeply emotional story. An uprising, a revolt or an oppressed and neglected community's anger could be the reason for war. Gowtam states this in his visuals and voice-over as well.

The action sequences seem to have been shot with great passion to bring something new to the table. Vijay Deverakonda's performance also is strikingly good yet this image issue could be why you feel something amiss. Hoping that the movie will erase all such impressions and deliver a memorable viewing experience.
