Varun Tej and Merlapaka Gandhi next title leaked?

Mega Prince Varun Tej is looking to make a comeback in Telugu cinema after facing several years of setbacks. He is currently focused on his upcoming film, Matka, a periodic mass entertainer set to release this year, directed by Karuna Kumar, with Meenakshi Chaudhary starring as the lead.

In addition to this project, Varun has lined up two more films, one of which will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The film directed by Gandhi is tentatively titled Kanaka Raju, and it is described as a crime comedy.

Known for his expertise in blending comedy with crime elements, Gandhi plans to shoot a significant portion of the film in Korea, with the visa process for the cast and crew already completed. Regular filming is scheduled to begin in November.

Kanaka Raju will be produced by Krish’s First Frame Entertainments and UV Creations, making it a noteworthy big-budget venture. The music and background score will be composed by Thaman, adding to the film's appeal. Recent sensation Satya will be playing key role in the film.

Additionally, Varun Tej has confirmed his involvement in another project directed by Vikram Sirikonda, known for Touch Chesi Chudu. Filming for this project is set to start next year, with production handled by Mythri Movie Makers.
