Actually, Charan Suggested The Film To Tej

Waiting for the release of Srinu Vaitla directed Mister which will hit the screens on April 14th, Mega Prince Varun Tej has simultaneously worked for Sekhar Kammula directing Fidaa which is in the mid of production stages.
As we all know, director Srinu Vaitla initially narrated Mister story to Allu Arjun who rejected as he didn't immediately want to do another class film after S/O Satyamurthy. Then, Vaitla approached Tej with the same script for which the young hero gave his acceptance.
Varun Tej who is busy promoting Mister also revealed that, his ongoing project Fidaa story was initially narrated to Ram Charan. Since, Charan couldn't do the project owing to prior commitments, Varun Tej was offered the film.
“Actually, Charan anna suggested my name to Sekhar Kammula. Charan anna called me after I signed the film and stated that, it is a good subject and I did a good thing by accepting it,” Tej affirmed.
Fidaa is about love story between a NRI guy and a Telangana girl played by Sai Pallavi.
