Utsavam thought provoking trailer impresses

The impactful Telugu drama Utsavam written and directed by Arjun Sai with Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra playing the lead roles is gearing up for its release on September 13th. Suresh Patil is producing the movie on Hornbill Pictures. The movie is already carrying a positive buzz. Today, they dropped the film’s theatrical trailer.

As the trailer suggests, the film unfolds the resurgence of theatre plays. Krishna (Dilip Prakash), is a resolute force dedicated to resuscitating theaters. Accompanied by the Rama (Regina Cassandra), Krishna faces arduous challenges, driven by an unwavering love for his father Abhimanyu Narayan (Prakash Raj) and an abiding respect for the art. In navigating his emotions for Rama, Krishna emerges as the unwavering beacon of hope for the revival of theaters and stage plays, holding the indirect fate of thousands of artists in his hands.

Director Arjun Sai deserves praise for his bold choice of a thoughtprovoking concept. He engages viewers by incorporating elements such as emotions, love, and entertainment into a compelling narrative.

Dilip Prakash delivers an effortless performance in his challenging role, while Prakash Raj expertly portrays a passionate theater enthusiast. Regina Cassandra plays Dilip’s love interest, who shares passion for the theater.

The movie has an ensemble cast comprising Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, Bramhanandam, Ali, Prema, L.B. Sriram, Anish Kuruvilla, Priyadarshi, Amani, and Sudha.

The cinematography by the renowned Rasool Ellore effortlessly captures the essence of the movie, while the musical score by Anup Rubens adds depth to the narrative. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.
