Testing Time for Trisha in Tollywood

Actress Trisha Krishnan awaits an acid test in the form of ‘Bodyguard’ release. Yes! Bodyguard, starring Venkatesh in Telugu, is releasing on January 14 and Trisha is keeping her fingers crossed. Reason? Well, Asin, Nayanatara and Kareena Kapoor have all enacted female leads in Bodyguard movie in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi and have scored success. Moreover, Trisha has not signed any Telugu movie apart from her undershoot film ‘Dammu’ starring Jr. NTR. And that too, Trisha was not the original choice but only a replacement.

So with pressure mounting on the actress, she’s getting desperate for success in Telugu. Surely, the Telugu version of Bodyguard will draw comparisons on Trisha’s performance with the likes of Kareena Kapoor and others. However, the makers exude confidence that Trisha has done well comparatively and are very upbeat on the release. But on the flip side, Trisha is just pinning hopes on Bodyguard!
