Why Koratala, When Story Isn’t Of Him

Director Koratala Siva usually makes films with his own stories and during Janatha Garage promotional event he stated to have readied ten scripts for his next 10 films.

Story writing is Koratala Siva’s major strength. But, interestingly, other writer is providing story for the director’s next- a political drama film titled Bharath Ane Nenu with superstar Mahesh Babu.

For this film, Koratala Siva has opted story from Srihari Nanu who directed a flop film Thakita Thakita. Mahesh Babu hasn’t objected since he too was pleased with the script. However, Siva is writing dialogue version for the film. It is heard that, the writer is given Rs 1 crore for the story.

As per a grapevine, the film is about a normal man becoming a state’s chief minister. So, Mahesh Babu is expected to be seen in an authoritative role.

Some question why Mahesh Babu gave the direction responsibility to Siva when story is not penned by him. It may be mentioned here that, Siva doesn’t even know basics of filmmaking, as informed the director himself some time ago.

Apparently, Mahesh feels craze will be generated on the project as his previous film Srimanthudu with Siva was a runaway hit.
