Mahesh Misses, Vijay Gets HER

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha was supposed to team up with Superstar Mahesh Babu for a film with director Krish. However, this movie was shelved owing to unknown reasons. Sonakshi officially confirmed then that she will act opposite Mahesh. If things had worked out, it would be Sonakshi’s debut film in South.

Finally, Sonakshi Sinha is venturing into South cinema. AR Murugadoss who made a female centric film Akira with Sonakshi and worked for another Bollywood film Holliday with the starlet has roped in her for his next movie with mass hero Vijay. The film to be made on massive budget will be bankrolled by Murugadoss himself.

Murugadoss will start the project after wrapping up ongoing project with Mahesh Babu. The 23rd film of Mahesh that has Rakul Preet Singh playing female lead will hit the screens in June.
