Singer Kalpana clarifies about suicide attempt

Singer Kalpana Raghavendra has been admitted in the hospital due to overdose of sleeping pills. The news reports have suggested that the singer made a suicide attempt due to distress. But her family members clarified that it is an accidental overdose and not a suicide attempt.
But the damaging reports have been still going around about her supposedly troubled relationship with her in-laws and husband. She released a selfie video to clarify about the issue and stated that due to external stress, she had been prescribed sleeping pills and he overdosed unknowingly trying to find some sleep.
She further stated that her husband has been helping her to pursue law and move forward in her career at every level. Kalpana further stated that she is happy in her married life but she has stress related issue because of past depression and requested media outlets to stop the rumors about her life.
She also stated that she is alive because of her husband and daughter, who reacted at the right time to save her. She further requested all the rumor mills to stop harassing her family due to this incident.
