SCOOP: Cashing On Silk Smitha Continues

No one even bothers to find out where Silk Smitha’s family now lives and helping them financially. But when a Mumbai production house is making “Dirty Picture” on her life, a big hero literally brought her brother to Hyderabad to lodge a court case against the company. Those are the politics that exist in Film Industry these days.

Apart from Vidya Balan winning a National Award for Silk Smitha’s role, there’s nothing good that happened to any. In Tamil, another film on Silk is made with Sonia Agarwal as the lead, while actress Sana Khan reprised Silk in a Mallu film. Continuing the cashing-on, a director who was very close to Silk Smitha (portrayed by Emran Hashmi in Dirty Picture), director Velu Prabhakaran, is now getting ready to cash on his affair.

This Tamil director want to make his affair with Silk as a big story and translate it to 70 mm screen. It’s nothing but trying to pick notes from a corpse going in a procession folks.
