Better than our stars, though this money doesn't immediately help the victims, Bollywood's No.1 hero Shahrukh Khan has also decided to respond on the natural calamity that struck Chennai city.
Today, SRK has donated 1 crore to Tamilnadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund through his production company Red Chillies Entertainment. Appreciating the massive relief work being undertaken by Chennai government and others, SRK stated that he would extend a helping hand by donating the money.
Meanwhile Telugu stars Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu donated 25 lakhs and 10 lakhs respectively, while Rajikanth donated 5 lakhs for the victims.
