Thank God you are normal said Shahid's wife

Shahid Kapoor on a show recently spoke at length on how he met his wife and how they got married. Recollecting their first meetings, "Through the whole meeting, courting period, Shahid was in his Udta Punjab look. Can you imagine how that went…! Mira was a girl from Delhi, a family girl with a bog family. It was hilarious. He had just met Mira looking like that". He added, "The only condition she had, because I had long hair and long green streaks in my hair… she was like, the one thing I need you to do because I don’t understand you too much from the way you look. And then I told her that I can’t speak to you for a couple of weeks because I am getting into this movie and I need to zone in and stuff and she said “What does that mean? what do you mean we cant talk for two weeks?” So she was a bit thrown off with that side of me. We had connected and we got along pretty well when we met but this was this one side she didn’t get. I had started getting into that look (Udta Punjab look) after we met a couple of times so she was, I think, very scared. I still remember, a few months after marriage, she looked at me and said, “thank god you are not that guy I met before marriage! You are normal!"
