MAA TV Asking Sardaar To Come Down

on Apr 16, 2016

"Sardaar" sounds like the most powerful disaster in the recent time, with distributors likely to loss half of their investment for sure. And then, here is a request coming up from popular entertainment channel MAA TV.

As per some reports, MAA TV is seeking a renegotiation with Sardaar producer Sharrat Marar regarding the satellite rights of the film. Actually MAA has invested around 13 crores to own the satellite rights of the film, a figure which is nearly equivalent to what Baahubali has commanded. However, Sardaar has failed in theatres, and now MAA is fearing that the film might not work big time on TVs too. For that reason they are asking to give discount in the price.

Though agreement is signed for 13 crores, MAA is said to be requesting Sardaar to come down. We have to see what happens.
