Rudramadevi: That’s A Massive Failure

What happened with Baahubali and Srimanthudu may not happen with Rudramadevi, if we have to comment by the current happenings. Because there is no way people could rush to theatres in huge numbers until and unless there is huge buzz about a film.
In the case of Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu, both the films banked on hefty promotions. Joining hands with Karan Johar, Baahubali left no stone unturned to take the film massively into audiences. Later we have Srimanthudu where a shy Mahesh has for the first time opened up towards media and created a huge storm. The kind of promotion he has done in the name of adopting a village has literally stunned audiences and made them believe that the content inside is superior, though there is nothing such.
While Anushka has recently started promoting Rudramadevi, it could be observed that the buzz has reached none. Only if Anushka, Bunny and Rana promote the film aggressively, there is a possibility of securing huge openings from box office. Sending a bus adhered with Rudramadevi posters all over will not be helping the film big time. Interviews, media talks and presence of lead actors in all private and public circles is quintessential. On that note, we have to say that Rudrama’s promotional plans are a massive failure.
