How Come Rana Missed A Ghajini?

Do you know that hero Rana was supposed to do "Ghajini" in Telugu, but everyone asked him to restrain?

"I was shown a Tamil film by its director much before its release. I thought it was good and wanted to produce it in Telugu and act in it too. I showed it to my uncle, Venkatesh. He said it wasn’t right for me. So I took it to five other actors but they had their reasons for not doing it. That film was none other than Ghajini", reveals Rana, indirectly hinting how he missed a mighty film.

Ghajini was dubbed in Telugu and made Surya a superstar in the Telugu industry. Later Aamir Khan did it in Hindi and it became first 100 crores movie. "There were certain ideas I liked which the industry that I’m a part of wouldn’t entertain. I’m trying to make similar kind of content", says Rana, revealing his preferences.
