NATA KIREETI finally got MAA kireetam

Rajendra prasad, who popularly titled as "Nata Kireeti" emerged as the new president of MAA (movie artist association) on friday after a long rule of murali mohan who was a three-time president. shivaji raja was elected as general secretary.

Rajendra prasad won with a majority of 85 votes against his rival sahaja nati jayasudha. actor shivaji raja amass 216 votes, where ali accumulated 182 votes and for the posts of president, gen-secretary, executive vice president, treasurer, 2 joint secretaries and 18 executive committe members 394 of the total 702 turned up to cast their vote. before elections, a day before, manchu lakshmi and siva krishna were elected consistently as vice presidents.after results were announced, live music was played including theen maar, musical instruments played by striking hyderabadi beats. greeting RJ's panel, need less to say but the whole team bashed into a festivity.
