Rajamouli’s Words Are Satire On All
on Aug 11, 2015
Director Rajamouli has stated the other day that story telling through dialogues is not so interesting, but it has to be done through visuals. Of course, that is what Hollywood does all the time. Narrating a story through dialogues is like making a drama on screen, which’s not actual film making.
Rajamouli’s words are nothing but indirect satires on other filmmakers who have been talking films only with their dialogues. From Trivikram to Kona Venkat, everyone is writing these ‘rhyming’ (praasa) dialogues and making fun of everything.
Kona’s praasa dialogues are worst among the lot as their is no meaning and emotional connection in his dialogues other than rhyming. In order to write rhyming dialogues, our filmmakers are actually missing those sublime plots and wonderful characters-visuals driven story telling. Hope they all learn and stop making this punch dialogue nuisance.
