STORY: VFX, Business, Betterment Or Fear?
on Jun 18, 2015
Visual Effects are always seen as nuclear weapon for film makers as they could deliver something that is tough to create naturally. With the advent of these Computer Graphics, epic movies like Baahubali and Rudramadevi became a reality.
Unfortunately, delay in this VFX work has made producers of Rudramadevi to postpone their June 26th release. Are someone there not buying this reason? A huge chunk of film enthusiasts doesn't believe in the reason that pending visual effects work has made Rudramadevi miss their date. Many feel that Gunasekhar is upset and feared other small flicks like James Bond, Tiger and Jadoogadu that are trying to eat into his revenues on that day. But that doesn't hold genuine to believe.
Few felt that Guna wanted to bring betterment to certain visual effects scenes after he tasted a glimpse of Rajamouli’s Baahubali. As Rajamouli’s film is boasting some world-class CGI, Guna cant allow his Rudrama packed with amateur graphics. Already Rudramadevi trailer looked as if the whole movie is stuffed with silly graphics work. For that reason the director-producer might have postponed his film to an undisclosed date.
To finish off, we need to have a look at another rumour in existence. Still Rudramadevi hasn’t finished business in certain areas, but the director thought of releasing on his own. However, buyers are said to be offering better prices since Guna announced Chiru’s voice over for the flick. For that reason he wants to delay release such that he could amass some table profits. Is the craze for Chiru’s voice really that big?
Whatever maybe the reason, Rudramadevi is not arriving. Missing some hot seasons like Pongal, then Summer and now this monsoon season are sheer bad luck. Hope all those real-life historical characters of this film will rise from ashes and bless the flick for earliest arrival.
