Priyanka Chopra has made it to the top 10 highest paid actresses on TV according to Forbes. Priyanka Chopra’s name is on spot eight on Forbes magazine’s annual list of best paid television actresses as she took home $11 million for her American action-thriller TVseries, Quantico.  She made her international acting debut last year with ABC’s “Quantico” and now is gearing up for its second season. This comes after Deepika Padukone who was the highest paid Indian actress and World’s tenth highest with $10 million earnings.

Another name of Indian origin on the list is Mindy Kaling, who is the third highest paid TV actress in the world. American actress Sofia Vergara is at the first position fifth year in a row. The 44-year-old Colombian-American actress brought home a whooping USD 43 million before management fees and taxes, but not all came from her hit TV show “Modern Family”. Vergara has an impressive array of endorsement deals as well as her line of products. “In all, the 15 highest-paid female stars of the small screen made a combined $208.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016  $43.5 million more than last year’s combined total of $165 million,” Forbes said.

The actress is also ready with her Hollywood debut Baywatch, which will see her starring with Dwayne Johnson  Forbes’ highest paid actor  and Zac Efron. A de facto Bollywood star back home, the actress has been mentioned as a TV celeb by Forbes due to her work in Quantico getting her a lot of recognition in the US.
