Pooja Hegde comments targeted on that hero?

on Apr 16, 2025

Pooja Hegde did not find many Telugu film offers in recent times. She had been dropped out from Guntur Kaaram film and she found more offers from Tamil Cinema. Her Retro, with Suriya, is gearing up for a wide release on 1st May. During an interview, she made comments about social media influence.

She stated that she has 30 Million followers but can't assure 30 Million ticket sales with her presence. She stated that some stars don't have more than 5 Million but they are superstars. She stated that social media is not real and it is necessary to be aware of that aspect.

These comments have gone viral and fans of Telugu big stars are fighting with each other stating that Pooja targeted their hero. It is interesting to see that Pooja did not take any names but just talked about how social media popularity should not be taken seriously.

But some fans are dragging Allu Arjun's name and Ram Charan into their fights. These fans just need one or the other tool to target the other actor and Pooja's comments have come in handy. In fact, Pooja could have hinted at producers trying to give opportunities to social media influencers rather than real talents.

She did say it in a very genuine fashion taking her example. So, it is easy to blow out of proportion not taking the context into considentation. Hope, people who are looking at these silly fan wars don't get carried away and look at her interview with objectivity.
