Currently everyone is talking about "Oopiri" as senior heroines like Sumalatha and the original French production company that made "Intouchables" are showering praises all over.
Talking about his role as a guy who just returns from prison on a parole, hero Karthi says that he's never convinced initially to take up this role. "After watching Intouchables, I've felt that it will be difficult to Indianise this setup. But director Vamsi has blown my mind", he says. Talking about the fact that Jr NTR was supposed to do this role, Karthi avers, "I know about Jr NTR selected initially, but any director would keep three options in hand. I'm luck that he missed it and I've signed it"
Oopiri has to collected 45+ crores 'share' from box office such that it would become a safe project.
