Oopiri Stuffed With All Extras

The original "Intouchables" has the story of a paraplegic guy and his caretaker, and the chemistry between them is genuinely etched in the film. Cut to Telugu remake "Oopiri" or adaption as they are calling, seems like there are 'extraas' altogether.

In the original, the secretary (played by Tamanna here) of the paraplegic guy happens to be a lesbian and she never falls for the hero. Here Tamanna falls for Karthi and the two have even two masala songs between them. At the same time, the paraplegic guy (Nagarjuna here)'s wife is not shown, but here they are showing Anushka/Shriya in that role as a flashback. Also, there is letter-friend of Nagarjuna, and her face is shown for split second in original, but here they have roped in Shriya/Anushka for that role.

We have to see how much these extras would actually help the film.
