Jagapathi Babu stuns with his transformation for Peddi

on Dec 29, 2025

The anticipation for Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming magnum opus, Peddi, has reached new heights following the latest reveal of its powerhouse cast. Directed by the visionary Buchi Babu Sana and produced on an unprecedented scale by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film is already being hailed as a cinematic landmark.

The project has garnered immense global attention, and the excitement surrounding its production values suggests a theatrical experience of unimaginable proportions. Adding to this momentum, the makers recently introduced veteran actor Jagapathi Babu in the role of Appalasoori, presenting him in a transformation that has left fans and critics alike in awe of his versatility.

Known for his typically suave and sophisticated screen presence, Jagapathi Babu appears as a revelation in a raw, rustic avatar. His first-look poster depicts a hardened individual with unkempt salt-and-pepper hair, a dense grey beard, and distinctive broken glasses mended with thread. This intense persona perfectly aligns with the film's grounded, rural setting and suggests a character of significant depth.

Alongside lead actress Janhvi Kapoor and a stellar ensemble including Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma, the addition of senior actor Boman Irani further solidifies the film's narrative strength. With AR Rahman’s musical score and the success of the single "Chikiri Chikiri," Peddi is rapidly progressing toward its grand pan-India release scheduled for March 27, 2026.
