Naveen Polishetty eyeing a success like Shatamanam Bhavati?

Naveen Polishetty has been a hit machine for TFI in the recent times. His films like Agent Srinivas Athreya, Jaathi Ratnalu, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty have been hits. Now, he is working on his fourth film, Anaganaga Oka Raju. The movie is now planning to release for Sankranti 2026.
Already, Megastar Chiranjeevi locked Sankranti season for his Mega157, in the direction of Anil Ravipudi. Also, there are speculations that Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab or Fauji would release for this season. Even NTR and Prashanth Neel film is also planned for Sankranti season release.
One or two biggies could go to Summer but Chiranjeevi's film won't leave the date. Still, Naveen Polishetty has confidently locked the date and it seems like the makers are expecting a magic like Sharwanand starrer Shatamanam Bhavati success in 2017. Megastar's comeback film Khaidi No.150 and NBK's Gautamiputra Satakarni released for the same season.
Despite the big conflict, Shatamanam Bhavati could hold its fort and even collect triple profits to the people involved. Even for 2024 Sankranti, Hanu-Man came as a small film and collected huge. With Anaganaga Raju, Naveen seems to be hoping for such big success during the biggest festival period.
Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the leading lady role and Maari is directing it. Naveen will be playing a spoilt Raja from Godavari districts who wants to get married and what happens during his marriage is the story. Naga Vamsi is producing the film along with Sai Soujanya.
