First Day Collections: Sankranthi Pack Did We

on Jan 18, 2016

Going by the initial trade reports, we could say that all the Sankranthi films have done good at box office. Despite huge competition from one another, they got decent scores on day one.

Nannaku Prematho: This film has all the advantage on earth on January 13th, as this Jr NTR starrer is the only film to get maximum theatres. Despite mixed reviews, the film garnered 12.13 crores from AP and Telangana alone. That makes Nannaku Prematho fourth highest 'share' getter after Baahubali (22.4 Cr), Srimathudu (14.72 Cr) and Bruce Lee (12.66 Cr) First Day collections in two Telugu states.

Dictator: Released with terrific expectations from mass, this Balayya starrer made 5.79 crores 'share' from two Telugu states. That makes the film second highest 'share' getter for Balayya in two Telugu states on first day. His best film is "Legend", which made 6.9 crores 'share'. Even Dictator would have achieved it but Nannaku Prematho and Express Raja have eaten away theatres.

Soggade Chinni Nayana: Released on 15th January, Soggade Chinni Nayana got a limited share of theatres with three films occupying many slots already. Also there is huge craze to compete and this Nagarjuna starrer broke all barriers to collect 3.9 crores 'share' on day one from Telugu states.

Express Raja reports are yet to come out, we'll update once they are out.
