Nagarjuna as Adi Sankaracharya

Akkineni Nagarjuna will now be seen as Adi Sankaracharya. After Shirdi Sai avatar, Nagarjuna is going to don the role 'Adi Sankaracharya' avatar in a new film. Now its not quite sure whether it was Nagarjuna's decision to play Adi Shankaracharya or was it a peer's one. Nonetheless, this role will again add to the growing devotional roles and movies of Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Nagarjuna is playing a cameo role in Bharavi’s Adishankaracharya directed by Bharavi himself and produced by Global Peace Creators banner. Srihari, Sai Kumar and Suman are playing important roles. First it was Annamayya in 1997, followed by Sri Ramadasu in 2006 and now Shirdi Sai Babu, for which the shooting is currently under progress in Shirdi. And soon, you would be seeing Nagarjuna as Adi Shankaracharya.
