Blast From The Past: NTR, ANR

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao are the two main pillars of Tollywood. The Telugu film industry was based in Chennai for several decades before shifting to Hyderabad since late 1980s and early 1990s. In fact, NTR and ANR played an instrumental role in shifting the Telugu film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad.

Although they were superstars in their heydays, both NTR and ANR acted together in few films. Today, ANR’s son and actor Nagarjuna released a picture of the legends. He stated how far the area around KBR had been changed to become a most trafficking area in the city in all these years.

It is learnt that, the picture posted by Nagarjuna was from the film Raama Krishnulu.
