Murali Mohan Talks About TFI Shift

on Jun 25, 2014

Actor-Politician Murali Mohan is one of the key persons in the Telugu Film Industry. During his birthday celebrations at Film Chamber yesterday, Murali Mohan mentioned that he belongs to the Cinema family and not from a particular region. Talking about the shift of Telugu Film Industry to Vizag, Murali Mohan mentioned that it is not so easy to shift an industry and infrastructure to another state. Murali Mohan added that there are small technicians, artists and others who cannot afford a shift. In the meanwhile, he said that some people from the film  fraternity met Chief Minister KCR. As per this meeting, KCR is ready to render complete support for the film industry that is currently located in Hyderabad.

Murali Mohan said that people from the film industry are all like brothers. They might belong to various parties politically but that doesn't affect their relationship in the cinema family. Murali Mohan won the MP seat from Rajamundhry in the 2014 general elections. Murali Mohan mentioned that the film industry will not see a division just because the state has been divided. As a matter of fact, all old actors started off their careers in Chennai. At that point, even Malayalam and Kannada film industries were placed in Chennai. They all were happy together and even shared sets for shootings. TFI is one big and united family, said Murali Mohan.  Murali Mohan added that some of the senior film people are planning to meet the Chief Ministers of both the states in this regard very soon. So ideally, TFI shift is not a necessity according to Murali Mohan.
