Mrunal Thakur was not the first choice for Sita Role

'Sita Ramam,' starring Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur, was released on Friday (August 5) to excellent reviews. Hanu Raghavapudi directed the film, which was produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banners of 'Swapna Cinema' and 'Vyjayanthi Movies.' In this film, Dulquer played Ram very well, and Mrunal played Sita exceptionally well. Dulquer is already swamped with Telugu offers. Mrunal is now expected to appear in big Tollywood projects.

The film is quickly becoming a sensation in every region. With relatable characters, a brilliant screenplay, and breathtaking visuals, it has become a classic for everyone. The main reason is Sita, and Mrunal Thakur did an excellent job portraying the role. She is receiving overwhelming love and accolades from everyone.

Meanwhile, it's been reported that Pooja Hegde was approached for the character of Sita in the new movie 'Sita Ramam.' Yes, Pooja Hegde was sought for the part of Sita. Swapna sought to cast a star heroine with pan-India popularity in the role of Sita.

However, due to covid, her committed films being waiting, and call sheets issues, she appears to have pulled out. Everyone agrees that Pooja would have been better suited for this role. Mrunal Thakur, on the other hand, simply lived in that character.
