Supreme Court: Mohan Babu Can Keep “Padma”

Not long back, High Court of AP ordered dialogue king Mohan Babu to voluntarily give away his Padma Sri award. This is in connection with a Court petition filed by BJP leader Indrasena Reddy where he demanded Court to strip Mohan Babu of the award as he is using that title as a prefix before his name in the titles scrolls of his movies.

Taking the issue to Supreme Court level, Mohan Babu has filed an affidavit where he stated an apology for the happening and promised to never repeat that again. Earlier Supreme has given a stay on the verdict pronounced by High Court and today SC has altogether struck down the HC’s verdict. Supreme stated that Mohan Babu could carry his Padma without any issues. That’s a big sort of relief for the actor who’s worried these days over the happening.
