Adirindhi’s Astonishing Business

Tamil star hero Vijay’s most awaited flick Adirindhi (Mersal) is all set to hit the screens on 19th of this month, while Tamil version is releasing tomorrow. The film’s Tamil Nadu theatrical rights alone valued Rs 70 crores, wherein Telugu rights fetched Rs 4.6 Crores for the makers. Guess what satellite rights of the Atlee directed film were sold for 28.5 crores (for all South languages), whereas Hindi rights were sold for Rs 11 crores. Overall, Mersal made 156 crores pre release business (including all rights). Here’s Mersal business details:
