After keeping on postponing the release of his film, YVS Chowdary finally managed to get ‘Rey’ onto screen and very cleverly he had banked on mega fans to make this film a success.
In this regard, he introduced a song on ‘Pawanism’ making the anniversary of Jana Sena’s launch and also released the songs of this film coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
Despite such tricks by Chowdary notwithstanding, Rey has only earned lukewarm response with just 40% occupancy during peak days even in B and C centers, which was only due to mega fans again. On the whole, involving mega family hasn’t salvaged this flop project.
