The Demand, Because Of Mahesh Or Of Him?

Superstar Mahesh Babu is making Tamil debut with an untitled film being directed by AR Murugadoss. In fact, the major reason for Mahesh Babu accepting this project is to extend his market in Kollywood.

Surprisingly, demand for Tamil distribution rights of Mahesh23 is huge. As per reports, few top distribution houses in Tamil Nadu are offering big amounts to acquire theatrical rights of Tamil version of the film. The big question is the huge demand is because of Mahesh Babu or of the director Murugadoss.

Mahesh Babu is well known to Tamils. But, none of his films made huge business there. Mahesh’s previous film Srimanthudu made reasonable business in metro regions of Tamil Nadu. But, that can’t be considered as good performance.

On the other hand, Murugadoss is one of the top directors in Tamil Nadu with several blockbusters to his credit. In fact, Tamil distributors are showing interest because it has Murugadoss helming it.

Nonetheless, Mahesh Babu is the only factor for Telugu version of the film is in huge demand, when it comes to theatrical business. With many positives surrounding the project, it is expected to make career best pre-release business for Mahesh Babu.

Interim, the film will be dubbed and released in Malayalam also.
