Ascribe it to Dookudu success! Telugu movies Prince and Superstar Mahesh Babu is now planning to eye Tamil and even South Indian market. After blockbuster Dookudu, Mahesh Babu is planning to venture into Tamil market and compete with the likes of Suriya, Vijay, Simbu, Vikram, etc. The first step in this connection is the release of his upcoming movie ‘The Businessman’ in Tamil and Malayalam (dubbed versions). Albeit Mahesh got several offers to do a straight Tamil movie, he turned down. Even ace filmmakers like Shankar and Mani Ratnam evinced interest to make films with Mahesh but things did not materialize. But now Mahesh is all poised to capture the South Indian market – much like Rajinikanth.
