Versatile actor Mohan Babu has taken slight gap from films after Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu which was a debacle at box office. Apparently, he has decided to do roles or films which give satisfy to him as an actor.

At last he has got a challenging role to perform. Mohan Babu has given his nod to portray the legendary actor SV Ranga Rao in Savitri biopic titled Mahanati. It’s a cameo and Mohan Babu will be seen for few minutes in the prestigious venture of director Nag Ashwin. However, Mohan Babu might be delighted to essay the challenging role. As we all know, SV Ranga Rao is one of the finest actors in India.

Mahanati already has ensemble cast and Mohan Babu too joins them. Keerthy Suresh is playing Savitri, wherein Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha and Shalini Pandey are the other important cast in the movie which would see lights in summer, 2018.
