Savitri, the legendary actress of South Indian Cinema, life inspired a biopic like Mahanati. Keerthy Suresh got a huge break as an actress with the movie. Before Savitri succumbed to alcoholism and tragedies in life, Meena Kumari, legendary Hindi actress, succumbed to it, at the age of 38.
A biopic on her life has been in plans from a long time and now, Kiara Advani has been approached to appear as Meena Kumari, say Bollywood reports. The actress took a break of maternity from films after she became pregnant with her first child. Even her husband, Siddharth Malhotra, is not working in many projects supporting her.
Currently, her bikini shot from War 2, as become a huge social media sensation but her Game Changer with Ram Charan, became a huge disaster. Post War 2 release, she could be appearing in Meena Kumari biopic, if she likes the script and gear up to play the "tragedy queen" role on silver screen.
She has been cast in Toxic, with Rocking Star Yash and she will resume shooting for the project post recovery from pregnancy. Well, Meena Kumari's life has many ups and downs and if done well, it could be another "Mahanati" for Indian Cinema. Let's wait and see, how Kiara will react.
