Like Ponniyin Selvan, Varisu/Vaarasudu is also a huge film: Sarathkumar

Thalapathy Vijay's next film, 'Varisu,' is on track for a Pongal 2023 release. The family entertainer, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, will star Rashmika Mandanna opposite Vijay in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

Sarath Kumar, a talented senior actor, plays a major role in the film. He is now promoting the film Ponniyin Selvan. He attended a press meet today and spilled the beans about Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu.

He said "Varisu will showcase the changes that take place over generations in a family. It is a complete entertainer that has all the elements like love, fights, emotions and everything else. Like Ponniyin Selvan, is it also a huge film."

He continued "Thalapathy Vijay's personal favourite song from Ponniyin Selvan is Ponni Nadhi & he keeps humming that song in the sets of Varisu."

All Thalapathy Vijay fans will be delighted at this news. The producers recently took to social media to tell us that they are in the final stages of production, with the final schedule of shooting beginning on September 25. According to the official source, only two action sequences and two songs are left to be shot. The final scene of the film is currently being shot in Ennore Port, Chennai.
