on Dec 18, 2016

Megastar Chiranjeevi at several occasions stated that, his fans wish to see him in commercial entertainers and they may not accept him if he does message oriented flicks. During MAA Award function, which was used as a platform to unveil details about megastar’s 150th film Khaidi No 150, Chiranjeevi affirmed his film to have a strong message, mass masala ingredients, fights and glamor.

Khaidi No 150 is official remake of Tamil super hit film Kaththi. There was huge interest on Kaththi ever since it was launched. AR Murugadoss had taken utmost care in each and every aspect- starting from posters designing to teaser to trailer to promotional strategies. The Vijay starred film promoted as a message oriented film had become a big hit.

When it comes to Khaidi No 150, the makers are promoting it as a commercial entertainer. Even, posters which they have released so far also hint the same. Situations and audience mindset in Chiru’s heydays and now have been changed drastically. Still, the makers of Khaidi No 150 are stuck in yesteryear era.

The same VV Vinayak directed Tagore which was also remake of Murugadoss’s super hit Ramana was genuinely promoted as a social-message film. But, why the same team opting wrong strategies to endorse their film.

In first look teaser of the film, except for Chiru, there was nothing in it. Fans were happy to see Chiru in a massy avatar and the teaser got immense response. A latest poster of Khaidi No 150 where Chiranjeevi is seen wearing quirky outfit has got negative response.

They should at least reveal plot of the film, which is already known to many those who watched Kaththi, by including commercial aspects in trailer or next teaser. Then, movie buffs will come to a strong opinion on the film.
