Kanguva producer says reducing volume resolves loudness issue

Kanguva starring Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani released on 14th November all over. The movie failed to live up to the expectations of the audiences and garnered huge amount of negative feedback. Producer K.E. Gnanavelraja talked to press in Hyderabad and he stated that reducing the volume will solve loudness issue.

He stated that they have requested exhibitors to reduce the volume by two points at the screens. Also, he stated that music composer Devi Sri Prasad did his best to give the movie a great background score and it is mixing issue that people are feeling it as too loud. He also remarked that the issue will be solved by tonight.

Later, Gnanavelraja stated that Kanguva 2 will happen after Siva completes his next with Ajith Kumar. He stated that the movie is definitely on the cards and they are planning for the shoot from mid-2026. He also said that the movie low collections are due to it being a working day release and not a big festival holiday date.

He also stated that the movie will cross Suriya's lifetime highest collections by weekend and first day will be covered by Sunday numbers in total. Well, after making tall claims about movie collecting RS.2000 crores and being first Rs.1000 crores film for Kollywood, he seems to be trying hard to cover for the gigantic negative feedback.
